Pet – Uses
-- Litter boxes, pet cages, kennels, pet messes (vomit, urine, blood, etc), veterinary clinics,
horse trailers, pet beds, etc.
Odor-Z-Way® works excellent in litter boxes for ammonia removal and nuisance smells. Just add in about 1/8 to ¼ cup of Odor-Z-Way® to the litter box. For the best results add in the Odor-Z-Way® after you clean your cat’s litter box. Once you add in the Odor-Z-Way®, stir it in with the cat litter. This will allow the product to come in contact throughout the entire litter box, instead of just the surface. Allow the Odor-Z-Way® to sit in the litter box for about one week, and throw it away when you clean your litter box out. If you have multiple cats, then add an extra 1/8 to a ¼ cup due to higher usage.
After cleaning out your pet's cage,
add about ¼ cup into the
bottom of the cage. Let the product stand for 1 week, until odor becomes present, or until you clean the cage out again. For higher usage you may want to add 1/8 to ¼ cup more. If the odor comes back before you clean the cage out, just add more Odor-Z-Way®. This will eliminate the bothersome odors
in your pet’s cage.
After removing the bulk of an animals vomit, you can sprinkle Odor-Z-Way® over the affected area where the vomit was to remove the odor. You want to sprinkle enough Odor-Z-Way® on to where the affected area is covered. Now take you foot, a brush, etc. to rub the Odor-Z-Way® into the affected spot. Leave the Odor-Z-Way® on the affected area for a couple of hours or until the odor is gone and vacuum the Odor-Z-Way® up.
There are two ways to remove a vomit stain from your carpet. The first way is to catch the vomit while it is fresh. You should clean up the bulk of the vomit with a towel first. Next, take the Odor-Z-Way® and sprinkle it over the vomit spot. You want to add enough Odor-Z-Way® to where the entire spot is white. Now take you foot, a brush, ect. and rub the Odor-Z-Way® into the affected area. Leave the spot sit until the area has dried completely. Once dried, come back in and vacuum the affected area. At this time the Odor-Z-Way® has absorbed the smell from the vomit and the stain as well.
If the vomit stain was not completely removed on the first application or if the vomit stain is anywhere from 1 hour old to 20 years old, you can use Odor-Z-Way® to remove the vomit stain. Since vomit is water based, you will want to dampen the stain down by misting or dabbing some water over the affected area. Once you have done this, take the Odor-Z-Way® and sprinkle the product over the affected area. Rub the Odor-Z-Way® into the stain with your foot, a brush, etc. Leave the stain sit until it has dried. Once dried, vacuum the affected area. The stain and the odor are now completely gone. If some of the stain is still present, follow these directions again and it will be removed completely the second time.
For milder smelling kennels take ½ a can of Odor-Z-Way® and sprinkle it throughout the kennel. For really bad odors take a full can and sprinkle it throughout the kennel. Let the product stand for at least three days. You may need to use more for higher usage. Once three days has passed, just sweep up the Odor-Z-Way® and throw it away. Reapply again to achieve the same results.
After cleaning out your pet's cage, add about ¼ cup into the bottom of the cage. Let the product stand for 1 week, until odor becomes present, or until you clean the cage out again. For higher usage you may want to add 1/8 to ¼ cup more. If the odor comes back before you clean the cage out, just add more Odor-Z-Way®. This will eliminate the bothersome odors in your pet’s cage.
There are two ways to remove a dirt stains from your carpet. The first way is to catch the mud when it is fresh. You should clean up the bulk of the mud with a towel first. Next, take the Odor-Z-Way® and sprinkle it over the muddy spot. You want to add enough Odor-Z-Way® to where the entire spot is white. Now take you foot, a brush, ect. and rub the Odor-Z-Way® into the affected area. Leave the spot sit until the area has dried completely. Once dried, come back in and vacuum the affected area. At this time the Odor-Z-Way® has absorbed the entire dirt stainl.
If the dirt stain was not completely removed on the first application or if the dirt stain is anywhere from 1 hour old to 20 years old, you can use Odor-Z-Way® to remove the dirt stain. Since dirt is water based, you will want to dampen the stain down by misting or dabbing some water over the affected area.
After cleaning out the chicken pen, take the Odor-Z-Way® and sprinkle around the floor of the pen. You just want to have a nice dusting across the floor. The Odor-Z-Way® will help keep the odors down as well as remove the ammonia coming from the chicken pen which will help keep your chickens healthier. If the odor starts to come back just add a little more Odor-Z-Way® until you clean the chicken pen out again.
You can remove fish odors from the air or in direct contact with you skin. To remove fish odors from the air, such as in a cooler, live well, room, refrigerator, etc., take a small bowl and fill the bowl about half way with Odor-Z-Way®. Place the bowl in the area where the fish smell is present. Leave the bowl in the area for at least two hours. Come back and check the odor at this time. The odor should be greatly reduced. If there is still some odor left, smell the Odor-Z-Way®. If the Odor-Z-Way® has an odor to it, you will want to stir the product in the bowl so what is on the bottom can be brought up to the top to start absorbing. If you have already stirred the Odor-Z-Way® and the product has an odor to it, you must throw the Odor-Z-Way® away in the trash can and replace it with fresh Odor-Z-Way®. The reason for this is because the Odor-Z-Way® has absorbed as much as it could and is no longer useful for odor absorption. Once you do this the odor should be removed completely.
To remove fish odors off of your skin, you will need a little soap and water. Dampen your hand with a little water, then add a little bit of liquid soap. Next, fill the palm of your hand with Odor-Z-Way®. Rub the water, soap, and Odor-Z-Way® onto the area that the fish odor is present, like you would be washing your hands. Rinse the spot off and there will be no more fish odor.
- Pet Messes (vomit, urine, etc.)
For fresh urine messes on the floor, just add Odor-Z-Way® on top of the
area. No cleaning or dabbing is needed. Add enough to cover up
the mess. Let this spot sit until the urine has dried, which will
usually be about 12 to 24 hours. Once the mess has dried then vacuum
it up. This will pull the ammonia out of the urine along with pulling the stain out of you carpet or floor.
If there is a small stain still present, then dampen the carpet down with
a mister and cover the stain with Odor-Z-Way® once again. Rub the
product into the stain and let the affected area sit until it has dried.
Vacuum up and the stain will be gone.
For fresh solid messes such as vomit and feces, clean up the solid matter from the spot and then apply Odor-Z-Way®. The Odor-Z-Way® will absorb the odors and also absorb most of the stain out of your carpet or floor. Let Odor-Z-Way® stand for approximately 12 to 24 hours and then vacuum up the mess.
When trying to dissolve old messes or pull the rest of a previous stain out of your carpet, lightly dampen the
affected area with water first. Do not douse the area though, because this will saturate the Odor-Z-Way® and will cause it to be ineffective. Once the
affected area has been dampened, take the Odor-Z-Way® and sprinkle it on top of the stain. Cover the stain with the product until you can no longer see the stain. Next, rub the product in with a cloth or old brush. Leave the Odor-Z-Way® on the
affected area until it has dried. This will be about 12 to 24 hours. Last, go back and vacuum up the area. If the stain has faded but is still present, repeat this process again to fully remove the mess. Otherwise the
affected area will be cleaned and your floor will look like new.
Skunks can spray in a wide variety of places from outside, to on your animal, to on you. If you know the area where the skunk sprayed outside at, for example, by your house, you can sprinkle Odor-Z-Way® over the affected area and just leave it. You want to use a generous amount of Odor-Z-Way® for this odor. Within a couple of hours the smell will be absorbed by the Odor-Z-Way® and there will no longer be any skunk odor.
If your animal happens to get sprayed by a skunk, then you can give your pet a dry bath in Odor-Z-Way® to get rid of the skunk smell. Simply sprinkle the Odor-Z-Way® all throughout your pet's fur and rub the Odor-Z-Way® in. Eventually, your pet will shake all of the Odor-Z-Way® out, so don't worry about giving your pet a bath afterwards. You might have to give a couple of applications to your pet to get the odor completely out.
If you are to get sprayed by a skunk, you can used Odor-Z-Way® with soap and water and scrub the areas where you got sprayed. Again this may take a couple of applications but this will get rid of the odor.
Mice can get into all kinds of spots that are tough to get to like behind vending machines, in a wall, behind a refrigerator, etc. and end up dying. To get rid of the dead mouse smell, you first want to remove the source causing the odor which is the dead mouse. Next, take Odor-Z-Way® and give a good dusting in the area where the mouse was. Leave the Odor-Z-Way® in that area over night and vacuum the affected area up the next day. The smell will be completely gone.
If you can't find the mouse but you know roughly where the mouse is at because of the smell, you will want to take Odor-Z-Way® and sprinkle a good dusting all over the general area where the odor is coming from. Again, leave the product over night and come back the next day and vacuum the affected area. The odor is now removed.
Odor-Z-Way® is a superior product for removing ammonia and other odors out
of horse trailers. Simply take 7 ounces of Odor-Z-Way® (size of
trailer and strength of odor may vary recommended amount) and sprinkle
throughout the floor of the trailer. Leave the Odor-Z-Way® sit for 12
-24 hours then wash out your trailer as you normally would. You can
leave the Odor-Z-Way® sit as long as you would like, as it will not harm
anything to leave the product sit. Of course, the Odor-Z-Way® will
not harm the horse or the environment as the product is environmentally
safe and pet safe. You will notice a tremendous difference in the
odor that comes from the trailer. Along with removing the odor,
Odor-Z-Way® also absorbs the ammonia which begins to eat up a trailer. So, Odor-Z-Way® has a dual purpose as good maintenance for the trailer as
well as to remove the bothersome odors.
There may also be places in the living quarters of the horse
trailer that you can use Odor-Z-Way® for as well. From manure odors
to trash can odors, to carpet stains. Odor-Z-Way® works well for all
of these applications to. Please go to the Home Odor-Z-Way® product
page (

applications.

Being around a dead animal can become very bothersome due to the odor. There are a couple of different ways to get rid of the dead animal smell. The first way is to sprinkle a coating on the area where the dead animal was at. You want to use enough Odor-Z-Way® to where you see a nice white coating on the ground. Leave the product on the ground for at least a couple of hours. Leave and come back later. Once you come back in, you will smell a noticeable difference in the area. Just sweep up the used Odor-Z-Way® and throw the product away in the trash.
The second way to get rid of the dead animal odor is to sprinkle the Odor-Z-Way® directly onto the dead animal. You will want to add a nice coating to the animal because the odor is probably going to be very strong. This will not take away all of the odor as you have not removed the source that is creating the odor yet. What using the Odor-Z-Way® will do, is knock the odor down enough to where it is tolerable to go in the room and work.
The final way to get rid of the dead animal smell is to get a shop vac and add Odor-Z-Way® inside of the vacuum. Turn the vacuum on in the area that the odor is present. Let the vacuum run for a few hours or until the odor has been reduced. Shut the vacuum off and throw the used product from the vacuum into the trash.

Throughout the different seasons of the year, all types of horses are
placed in stables. Of course, during the summer months they are
outside more often, but when placed in a stable for certain periods of
time they can create a bad ammonia odor, which the heat makes worse.
Like wise, in the winter time the horses are placed in stables for long
periods of time creating a bad ammonia odor as well. As we all know,
ammonia is not good for animals or humans for that matter. To remove
the ammonia odor, take 7-14 ounces of Odor-Z-Way® (recommended amount may
vary due to size of stable and strength of odor) and sprinkle throughout
the stable. Leave the Odor-Z-Way® sit for at least a day. You
can leave the Odor-Z-Way® sit until the next time you clean your stable
out, as the product is environmentally safe and will not cause harm to the
horse or any other animals in the stable. With removing the ammonia,
you have created a healthier and more friendly environment for the animals
as well as the workers tending to their everyday needs.

If you encounter a stain on your cement, such as your cat drug a bird
up to your front porch and there was a blood stain left behind, then you can
use Odor-Z-Way® to pull out the stain. If the blood, vomit, urine, etc. is
fresh, then just add the Odor-Z-Way® on until the affected area is covered
up. Next, take your foot or a brush and rub the product in. Leave the
Odor-Z-Way® sit for a couple of hours and come back and sweep up the mess. The stain will be gone.
Sometimes you might not always catch a stain when it is fresh.
That is alright. For an old stain, you want to take some water or
water soluble cleaner and apply to the stain on the cement. Only
dampen the affected area enough that the cement looks wet, you do not need
to have standing water. The reason for using water is to loosen the
stain in the cement. Now, take the Odor-Z-Way® and apply generously
over the stained area. After applying the Odor-Z-Way®, take a brush or
your foot and rub the product into the affected area. You will see the
stain start coming out fairly quick, but go on ahead and leave the
Odor-Z-Way® on for a couple of hours. Now come back and sweep up the
mess. The stain is now gone.
